Whether you're managing a busy schedule, caring for family members, have mobility challenges, or simply don't feel well enough to leave the house, accessing healthcare can sometimes feel like an unnecessary obstacle.

Our new online consultation service aims to remove those barriers.

Patients will be able to book a consultation online, choose a date and time that suits them, receive a secure consultation link, and then speak directly with one of our healthcare professionals from the comfort of their own home.

Best of all, online consultations will be completely free of charge.

Pharmacy First: The First Service Available Online

Our online consultation service will initially launch with Pharmacy First consultations.

Pharmacy First allows trained pharmacists to assess and provide treatment for seven common conditions without the need for a GP appointment. This helps patients access advice and treatment more quickly while reducing pressure on other NHS services.

The service is expected to expand further in the near future, with the Government announcing an additional five conditions that pharmacies will be able to support through Pharmacy First, bringing the total to twelve.

This means even more patients will be able to receive fast, convenient care directly through their local pharmacy.

Open Conversations About Contraception

We are also pleased to be introducing online consultations for our contraception service.

We understand that discussing sexual health can sometimes feel uncomfortable or embarrassing. Our aim is to create a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where patients can have open and honest conversations about their healthcare needs.

By offering online consultations, patients can access professional advice and support in a setting where they feel most comfortable, helping remove some of the barriers that may prevent people from seeking the care they need.

Our online consultation platform will also support our growing weight management service.

We offer a range of evidence-based weight loss treatments, including both tablet and injectable options, alongside expert advice and ongoing support from our pharmacy team.
